Around One Hearth is a work that comes from the earth.
It evokes a rural tradition in which, after the day spent in the fields, after the fatigue of work, workers gather around a fire that warms, unites and fosters dialogue. It is here that, sitting next to each other and immersed in a sort of collective meditation, the focus moves from the central sparkling light surrounded by darkness up a prevailing night sky and minds are let free to fantasize.
The work is a dialogue between earth and sky. The warm earthly intimacy and the cold and splendid expanse of the sky are magically blended.
The embers symbolise earth. The triangular structure, well planted in the ground, further recalls such a firm connection.
The sparks generated by the fire are instead upward movement, ascending and jumbling with stars. Around One Hearth

The warmth of the hearth is a refuge, a shelter from the cold, a sacred enclosure of salvation and at the same time a place for sharing stories and myths told beside the fireplace.
This work summons a place for imagination, fantasy, myths and legends.
The fire is contemplative, hypnotic and primordial. The atmosphere is intimate but universal, recalling both sweetness and torture, life and death.
In this scenery, Around One Hearth defines a space for dialogue, welcomes and invites the sharing of stories and ideas.
People can imagine they are somewhere else, far from there.
It is the same reality where the first stories were born in ancient times, and the place where to take shelter to regain our time, the temple of slowness and contemplation.
